The Sant Roc team: commitment, family and dedication to service.

The Hotel Sant Roc is a family-run establishment founded in June 1955, in what had to be the summer home of a family of pastry chefs from Barcelona. Thanks to the initiative of the couple Joan Boix and Neus Salada, -now 66 years ago- the hotel has become a reference destination on the Costa Brava.

What is our philosophy?

Located on a hill, in the middle of a holm oak forest and with privileged views of Calella de Palafrugell, the Sant Roc team – made up of workers with more than 25 years of experience in the house – offers familiar and personalized treatment to guests. numerous customers visiting us from all over the world. The objective? May they have an unforgettable experience.

A philosophy started by Joan and Neus, but which has been seconded by the following generations. First it was his daughter, Teresa Boix, who, to help her parents, directed her training towards hotel management to take over the reins of the business. In parallel to Sant Roc, side by side with her husband Bertrand Hallé, Teresa has also promoted other projects beyond the walls of the family establishment. Projects with close ties to the territory, contributing to the projection of Calella de Palafrugell and the Costa Brava brand.

The family lineage is completed with the current director Barbara Hallé, daughter of Teresa and Joan, who together with her brother Nicolas Hallé has been in charge of Sant Roc since 2007, despite the fact that she had already been working since she was 14 years old.

Barbara's management of the hotel cannot be understood without the mastery of her mother and grandmother. The history of Sant Roc is an example of female leadership. In short, a lineage that is characterized by the dedication to service and excellence in management.
